I urgently needed twenty large arborvitae and two sizable lilac trees/bushes transplanted. Gus was very sympathetic to my time constraints and came right over and gave me a very fair price. In fact it was so reasonable that I thought perhaps the quality of the work would not be satisfactory. I was incorrect! The work was done professionally and timely by a hard working crew and I was delighted with the outcome. Duran Tree Service gets a well-earned five stars.

Gus responded to my request for a quote the same day I called and got his guys over to take down two trees in my backyard within the week. The price was reasonable and the crew was very professional and helpful. Very satisfied with the work.

I wouldn't actually be able to tell you how Duran Tree service in terms of actually delivering a service. I exchanged text with a person named Gus and received a quote that seemed fair so on 4/16/2020 I scheduled for them to come to my home Saturday 5/2/2020 at 10 am to take out a tree. I used the online scheduler offered on their website to do this. On the day of the event I made arrangements to be available and had the entire drive way where the tree is located cleared out for their crew and equipment. The morning of the job literally 30 mins before they were supposed to be at my home I got a call from Gus stating that they weren't coming because of covid-19 and then he also complained that my location was a little far away from where he normally works in Hillsboro but I told him I was in north Portland during our text and he received my address when I scheduled the appointment in mid April! He said that he needed to reschedule for during the week. I dont have a problem obviously with a service canceling because of everything that's happening right now, but why not update your websites scheduler so that appointments cant be booked on weekends if your not offering this and furthermore since I scheduled the appointment on 4/16/2020 why not call sometime within that two weeks even just a day or two ahead to let me know you need to reschedule? Totally unprofessional and I suspect the late cancellation had more to do with not wanting to come out on a rainy day than it did with covid-19. If you go to their website right now you can still book for a Saturday. Obviously I did not choose to reschedule because its hard to respect a business that doesn't value the time of others and these folks clearly did not on the day they were scheduled at my house. Side note I did text Gus again later that day (as he requested) and was going to reschedule but it then took him another two days to even get back to me about that, LOL, wow.
